Serena is a gator through and through! A University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications graduate, she received her bachelors in telecommunication-News Reporting in 2007 and her masters in health/science communication in 2010. As a graduate from one of the top 10 J-schools in the country her skills and experience are evident from her expansive portfolio. Prior to joining ABC News, Serena worked with the National Cancer Institute and helped launch their social media and video production efforts.  She currently resides in the Washington D.C. metro area with her husband and their puppy, Oliver.
